On Opening Day, the check in time is 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. CENTRAL TIME
Early Arrivals
In order for campers to receive the greatest benefit from our program, parents are strongly urged to observe both check-in and check-out times. If these hours or dates can not be adhered to, special arrangements must be made with the camp office. Should early arrival or late departure be unavoidable, there is a $275 fee for an extra night at camp. Additional days and nights will be prorated based on the session fee.Late Arrivals
There is no reduction in fees for late arrivals. In case of leaving camp early due to illness, the camp will refund half of the un-expired camp fee. There is no refund for leaving camp early for any reason other than illness.
Step 1: Check In
The check in time is 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. CENTRAL TIME
Visit the office
Step 2: Pay Balance
Camp Fee Balances are due by May 1 unless other arrangements have been made. Set up a spending account at the Office, if you have not done so. We request that spending accounts be set up prior to camp in order to save you time on opening day. If your daughter is going to participate in our Trip Day, forms for the trip waivers for Ocoee and Nantahala are on-line and we prefer that these be submitted prior to opening day. Riverview reserves the right to cancel any trip if there are not enough participants.
Step 3: Camper Medication
During the Health Check, you will need to turn in to our Nurse or Physician, all medications, whether prescription or over-the-counter, in their original container. For legal protection, neither staff nor campers are allowed to keep medications in their trunks or their cabins. They must be turned in to the Riverview health care medical staff with directions for administration and Medical Administration Forms must be completed.

Step 4: Health Check In
Each parent/camper will visit, briefly, with one of our Nurses or Physicians. This is NOT a physical examination. It is the time for you to give us any information we need to care for your daughter and will not take up much of your morning. The health check takes place upstairs in the gym BEFORE going to the cabin (required.) You may not go to the cabin until after the health discussion is completed.

Step 5: Gift Shop - Chiki Boutiki
Visit Chiki Boutiki to purchase required Tribe Uniform, souvenirs, or items you forgot to pack.
Step 6: Cabin
Only after you and your daughter have seen one of our health care team may you go to your cabin, where your daughter’s counselor will be waiting to welcome you. Pick out a bunk, unpack and start getting to know your counselors and cabin mates.
Step 7: Explore Camp
Enjoy a walk around camp if you would like to do so. Please have campers back at their cabin by 11:00 for a “cabin meeting” and to prepare for lunch.
Step 8: Say Goodbye
Cheerfully, not tearfully!
Step 9: Drop off mail/gifts
Drop off any mail and or camper gifts AT THE OFFICE.
Step 10: Keep Us in Your Prayers
